For this to be a new restaurant in the city, I have to say that this is one of the most delicious soul food places in the city. I have come many times and I've often wanted to keep this gym to myself as they are very small location and not very busy but now I just have to let someone know. As soon as they sit down, someone is there to greet you and get your drink orders. It is absolutely amazing how fast they are able to get to you without any confusion it speaks to how they operate during their training. I always get the catfish. It is something that I absolutely enjoy when I come, although I always say tell myself that I'm gonna try something different. The catfish is so amazing me and my friends are always in awe of how good it is inconsistently every single time that we come, they've got a recipe for it and it is absolutely amazing to try catfish when they come . The restaurant is very small yes however, it is very accommodating and for the size it does sit quite a few people without feeling so congested. I greatly appreciate the way they have their booth and table seated and gives you a lot of legroom and space if need to walk up to the bar or even to the bathroom without feeling like you have to squeeze in between anybody. I'm hoping that they decide to spread out and put locations all over Metro Atlanta and kind of spread out and get a bigger layout because this is a place I desperately want a little bit closer to Midtown however I will make the travel out to Brookhaven every single time.

I didn't know what to expect and i haven't had a lot of success in the soup food arena here in atl. But here, A1!!! I came with mu sister for her birthday on a Sunday afternoon around 5pm. We wanted to do earlier because it is first come, first serve. The drinks are very nice, the food was very flavorful and done to perfection. I had the lamb chops, mash potatoes, and green beans. While my sister had the ribs, Mac n cheese, and collard greens. Absolutely no complaints. We also had a side of cornbread which was good, to me would have probably been better warm. We will definitely be back to check out a few other dishes. I also like the more relaxed and cozy atmosphere, and our server Gabby was excellent - pleasant, attentive, and offered suggestions to help our navigate our first time.

My friends and I chose to come here based on my mother-in-law's high praise for this place. We came a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon and didn't have to wait more than 20 minutes for a table. We had a part of 6 people including a child. The ambiance of this restaurant was very chill. I loved their selection of music with nice r&b tunes. Once we ordered our food the food runners came to our table with our order in less than 15 minutes. Our food was hot and tasted so divine. Everybody loved their dish. I ordered their catfish with mac n cheese and collard greens. Let me tell you once you see the presentation of the mac n cheese you know it's the real deal. It's baked in a ramekin with the crust and browning on top. The collard greens were very flavorful. We ordered the honey buttered cornbread and MY WORD.... I have NEVER had cornbread that moist and mouthwatering in my life. I can't wait to come back here again.

This place was incredibly good! Free parking and the option to join the waitlist which was a plus. Our server was friendly and attentive. She provided a ton a recommendations which made the ordering process easy. As a table we order shrimp, short ribs, and catfish, oh the famous cornbread. Not one complaint from our party 4! That says a lot, right?!? I'll definitely be back again when visiting Atlanta.

The food was really good i had the catfish with collard greens and green beans and added a side on of shrimps (6) . The service was quick and easy i had Gabby for my server she did an amazing job. She was full of life and positive energy. The ambiance was pretty dope as well. When i walked in and they were playing some old school Aaliya . This was probably my favorite part about this place. They kept it cool and chill with the vibes.

Is nothing like some southern comfort food! There was security outside when we attended on a Thursday afternoon which was surprising because it was about 4 o'clock in the afternoon but I guess it's best to be safe than sorry. As soon as we walked in the ambience was delightful. The decoration lighting the pictures on the wall. Everything was amazing. They also have music playing not loud so it was great. The waiter was great giving us recommendations as this was our first time here so I did appreciate that. There was a little bit of construction going on in the restaurant in the basement I imagine because it sounded like loud banging, but we could not see where it was coming from which I definitely recommend that should be done after hours other than that. Everything else was great.

I think you could sum up the food from this place up in two words... TOP TIER!!! Now, when you pull up, you might have to wait a little bit, but trust me, it is 1000% worth the wait!!! I ordered (online/to go) the catfish, with the candied yams and the collard greens as the sides with the honey butter cornbread, and I could not be more pleased with every single bite!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND & they will for sure be getting my money in the future.

10/10!! We LOVED everything we tried!! We visited on a rainy Friday night around 9PM and it was the perfect time to stop by. The restaurant doesn't take reservations so we arrived with only 1 person in front of us on the waitlist. Once our table was ready we were quickly seated in a lowkey booth by the front door! Our server was friendly and attentive! GOOD EATS: Fried Lobster Bites 9/10 4 Krispy Fried Chicken Wings with Mac & Cheese and Yams 9.5/10 Peach Lemon Drop 10/10 I can't wait for my next visit!

4.8/5 Service: Came on a Friday night around 9pm. Was seated a lil under 10 mins of arrival. Our server was really nice and patient when it came to ordering Food/Drink: Our waitress recommended the lemon drops, i like that they automatically come with Tequila. But they honestly are not that strong for the price. For food, I ordered the grilled shrimp (comes w. 8 pcs), Mac n cheese, and green beans. Everything was pretty good, but the green beans could use a lil more flavor. My cousin ordered the chicken wings w. Mac n cheese, and yams. He said the chicken was better seasoned than another frequented restaurant, so that's saying a lot! He enjoyed his sides as well and felt everything was full of flavor. Ambiance: It's very nice inside, with a fair amount of seating. Great for a small bday dinner, causal outing, or date night. Overall: I would definitely come here again. I appreciate that it's in a plaza with more than enough parking spots. Will def be back!
